911 Requests for Services / Customer Service

  • Technical Rescue: (Lakeland Hills) On Monday, February 10 at 10:33 a.m. firefighters responded to reports of an adult patient trapped under a collapsed concrete retaining wall. On arrival, VRFA personnel found one patient pinned under tons of concrete. A technical rescue response for trench was initiated and VRFA, South King and Puget Sound Fire personnel successfully extricated the patient, after which he was transported to Harbor View by Medic One.
  • Aid Call: (Lakeland Hills) On Tuesday, February 11 at 10:46 p.m., firefighters responded to assist a patient that had taken too many pills. Fire personnel treated the patient at the scene and a private ambulance transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
  • Attic Fire: (Lea Hill) On Wednesday, February 12 at 8:12 a.m., firefighters responded to an attic fire. Firefighters removed ceiling drywall and were able to extinguish the attic fire with hand lines before it spread to adjacent units. There were no reported injuries. Cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office.
  • Aid Call: (Pacific) On Thursday, February 13 at 5:05 p.m., firefighters responded to a minor patient involved in a domestic violence assault.  Patient was evaluated and left on scene with Auburn Police. No additional medical attention was required.
  • CPR: (Auburn) On Friday, February 14 at 2:36 p.m., firefighters responded to an elderly patient who was unresponsive near the horse stalls at Emerald Downs. VRFA personnel arrived to find the patient not breathing and without a pulse. VRFA and King County Medic One started CPR and because of those efforts, the patient’s pulse returned while still on scene. Medic 6 then transported the patient to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
  • Aid Call: (Auburn) On Sunday, February 16 at 12:05 p.m., firefighters assisted a patient complaining of a possible broken nose after being in a fight. VRFA personnel evaluated and transported the patient to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center via VRFA aid car.
