Volunteers show they’re #AuburnProud during Clean Sweep event

On April 21st nearly 800 volunteers gathered in downtown Auburn to kick off the annual Clean Sweep event.  The ceremonial sweep down Main Street, lead by Mayor Nancy Backus, Councilman Larry Brown, Miss Auburn Whitney VanVleet, Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen Olivia Thomas and State Senator Joe Fain.  After Main Street was swept clean the volunteers were sent to their assigned locations to participate in the largest community volunteer effort.  Here is a glimpse of just a few of the volunteer groups from that day, working hard and celebrating being #AuburnProud!
