The City of Auburn has additionally announced that all active recreation areas in parks will now be closed. This includes playground equipment, sports courts (tennis, basketball, pickleball), baseball fields, mod-soccer fields, and picnic shelters.  This has been done in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and further encourage social distancing.

Parks, trails and open playfields where social distancing can be maintained remain open.
