Recycle Your Old Refrigerator with PSE and Help Food Lifeline

Puget Sound Energy is currently offering curbside pick up for old refrigerator or freezer recycling. If you recycle during the month of September PSE will give you a $25 rebate check that you can choose to donate to local nonprofit Food Lifeline. PSE will match all donations up to $5,000.

According to the PSE announcement, “Food Lifeline is a local nonprofit that partners with businesses and more than 300 local community organizations to source and distribute nutritious food to those experiencing hunger. This year they are also working with the farm industry to support local farmers and bring fresh produce to those in need in our community.”
