Joyce was a generous, happy woman.  She gave her time and energy freely and cheerfully to her community.  She took an active part in all Auburn city activities when Bill was a city councilman.  Joyce was a past board member of the Auburn Symphony, a current board member of the Auburn Urban Tree Board, active with the Sons of Italy, and a barista at the Auburn Senior Center.  She belonged to the Soroptimist and the PEO club.  She served holiday meals at the Auburn Senior Center.

Joyce was an avid golfer, master gardener, gourmet cook, loved to write short stories, and fine photographer.  She traveled to Paris with friend Patt to attend a wonderful cooking class. She loved music and ballet both in Seattle and Auburn.  She dressed with sparkle and verve, knew everyone, and was always one of the most elegant people in the room—no matter if she was in Auburn, WA, or Washington D.C.

We will miss your kind, generous, laughing spirit, Joyce, but you will always live in our hearts.

Memorial Information: Mass will be held on April 19, 2022, 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 505 17th St SE, Auburn 98022.  A celebration of life reception will follow the Mass.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of her favorite charities (Auburn Food Bank, Auburn Symphony or Auburn Human Society).
