Muckleshoot Tribe Announces Sports Betting Agreement with State Gambling Commission

muckleshoot casino logoThe Muckleshoot Indian Tribe today announced that the tribe has reached a tentative agreement with the Washington State Gambling Commission to allow sports wagering at the Muckleshoot Casino.

“While there are still several state and federal procedures and approvals necessary before sports wagering can start, this agreement with the Gambling Commission is an important step in the regulatory process,” said Jaison Elkins, Muckleshoot Tribal Council Chair.

When finalized Muckleshoot Casino guests will be able to place bets on professional and certain collegiate sports, Olympic Games, and e-sports competitions. Betting on in-state college sports or minor league teams will be prohibited under the agreement. Mobile wagering on smart phone apps will be allowed as long as bets are placed on casino grounds.
