King County’s Solid Waste Division invites you to take part in an online open house to help shape the design of a new recycling and garbage transfer station coming to south King County in 2023. The online forum will be open for public comment through March 24, 2019.

The new facility, set to begin operating in 2023, will serve the cities of Algona, Auburn, Federal Way, Pacific, and surrounding unincorporated areas. It will replace the outdated Algona Transfer Station, which has been in service for more than 50 years.
