King County Solid Waste Division is designing a modern facility that will replace the aging, limited Algona Transfer Station and make recycling, yard waste, garbage, and hazard waste collection more convenient for south county residents and businesses. The new station will be located at 35101 W. Valley Highway S., just north of the existing Algona Transfer Station.
