Washington State Wire Conversations: COVID-19 and Education Equity

Next Wednesday, the Washington State Wire be hosting its fourth virtual conversation event since it kicked off its “Virtual Conversations” series on Juneteenth.

This discussion will center around what to expect as schools re-open this fall. The panelists will explore the logistics of going back to school, and the implications for equity in education, for student health, and for education in Washington State.

This conversation on schools, reopening and equity in education is as timely as ever.

The Auburn School District announced yesterday that the district will begin the 2020-21 school year with a full distance learning model. Seattle Public Schools Superintendent Denise Juneau will be joining us next Wednesday along with two other leaders to discuss this issue in depth.
