DESCRIPTION:The Auburn Food Bank will host a Hawaiian-themed Luau Gala fundraiser on Saturday\, July 19\, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church (map below) to support its ongoing building remodel. \nThe community is invited to enjoy a festive evening at 410 H Street NE\, featuring dinner\, drinks\, and both live and silent auctions. \nTickets are $50 and may be purchased online here or by contacting the food bank directly. \nOrganizers say the event will raise funds needed to complete renovations at the food bank’s new facility\, allowing them to better serve families in need. \nThe Auburn Food Bank describes itself as a volunteer-directed organization that provides food\, referrals\, and emergency assistance to those in need in the Auburn community. \nSupporters are encouraged to purchase tickets or sponsor tables to help increase the event’s impact.
