DESCRIPTION:The Auburn Food Bank is inviting the community to its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser on Friday\, April 25\, to support local families in need. \nThe event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace Community Church\, located at 1320 Auburn Way S. (map below). \nWith a suggested donation of $20\, attendees can choose a handcrafted bowl and enjoy a gourmet serving of soup. \nFunds raised benefit the Auburn Food Bank’s mission to fight hunger in South King County. \nEach handcrafted bowl\, created by local artists\, is intended as a reminder of the empty bowls in homes facing food insecurity. \nNo RSVP is required\, and all are welcome to attend. \n“Bring all your friends\, family and coworkers to our drop-in event – no reservations needed!” organizers said. \nMore information is available at www.theauburnfoodbank.org.
