SUMMARY:Auburn School District Breathing Easier Training
DESCRIPTION:Washington Green Schools and Puget Sound Clean Air Agency have partnered to develop opportunities for learning about local air quality (AQ) in Auburn\, Washington. These lessons were created specifically for Auburn School District’s 3rd grade classrooms. \nDuring this training\, we will discuss this unique opportunity to engage your students in learning about and taking action on local air quality issues. Our hope is that all students will feel more prepared protecting themselves from air pollution and using their voice to influence decicison makers.\nIn addition to demonstrating the lessons and how to use the materials\, we will aslo be enagaging in important conversations around environmental health and justice. \nPlease note that this training is for educators working with third grade students. \n\n\n\n \nFAQs\n \nWhat can I bring into the event?\nAll you need is a pen/pencil and notebook! \n \nHow can I contact the organizer with any questions?\nPlease contact Sahar Arbab at sahar@wagreenschools.org with any questions.
