The City of Pacific is proposing to install six (6) war memorials in three locations along Pacific’s portion of the Interurban Trail. The memorials would honor veterans of the following conflicts:
- World War I
- World War II
- The Korean War
- The Vietnam War
- The Gulf/Iraqi War
- The Afghanistan War
The following are illustrations of the proposed locations of the memorials.
As part of each memorial, the City would like to include a “quote” relevant to each conflict. The City would like to gather the quotes directly from service members who served in each conflict, if possible.
