An Auburn woman is preparing for a big competition next month as Kristina Pressley is a finalist for the crown of Ms. Veteran America.
Pressley, a wife and working mother of two girls, is a 12-year Air Force Veteran. She didn’t have to serve, but nine days after graduating college, she signed up.
In her job at Orion Industries in Auburn where she helps veterans and others with obstacles to employment, she learned about the Ms. Veteran America competition and was drawn to the organization because of their mission called “Final Salute.”
