“We are working with other law enforcement agencies as the possibility exists that there are other related robberies have occurred in other cities.”

David Rose with Washington’s Most Wanted has offered a Crime Stoppers reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest of this suspect.

Two additional armed robberies occurred Saturday in addition to these robberies.  According to APD Commander Mike Hirman a male and female called in a food order to the Denny’s on Auburn Way S.  Restaurant personnel confronted the pair when they attempted to take the order without paying for it.  “The male suspect produced a handgun and threatened Denny’s workers,” said Hirman.

A Yellow Cab driver was robbed at gunpoint near the 1300 block of Auburn Way S.  “The cab driver provided two suspects a ride to Auburn and was subsequently robbed with a rifle,” said Hirman.

“We are currently reviewing all the robberies to determine whether there is a connection between them,” shared Hirman.  “A quick review does not appear to be such, but we are still looking at it. These cases will be reviewed by the detective division and so there is nothing more to report.”
