From APD’s Facebook:Last Thursday, the Police Advisory Committee (PAC) met for their monthly meeting. During this meeting, many conversations were had and many topics were covered. The goal of the PAC is to bring together the community and police personnel to exchange ideas and information on police services.

It’s important to note, the PAC meeting is meant to be an open discussion. Although it may start on one topic, it can quickly branch into many different directions. Written below is a list of some of the topics that were discussed:

  • Downtown Security Update

Fri Jun 10, 4:29 a.m. 2022 PDT A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of M St SE.

Fri Jun 10, 6:04 a.m. 2022 PDT A stolen vehicle was reported from the 2000 block of 19th Dr. NE.

Fri Jun 10, 11:18 a.m. 2022 PDT An attempted catalytic converter theft occurred in the 1600 block of West Valley HWY S.

Fri Jun 10, 12:01 p.m. 2022 PDT Felony harassment was investigated in the 3500 block of Auburn Way S.

Fri Jun 10, 12:56 p.m. 2022 PDT An arrest for felony harassment and attempted residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of K St SE.

Fri Jun 10, 1:15 p.m. 2022 PDT Fraud was reported in the 32000 block of 111th Pl SE.

Fri Jun 10, 1:26 p.m. 2022 PDT A local juvenile damaged several vehicles while throwing rocks over a fence. in the 2100 block of Noble Ct SE.
(Ouch, that’s not going to be cheap. Ya know what that sounds like to me? A lot of lawns to mow.)

Fri Jun 10, 3:10 p.m. 2022 PDT A residential burglary occurred in the 12700 block of SE 312th St.

Fri Jun 10, 6:19 p.m. 2022 PDT A trespass occurred from the Big Nation Station 2802 Auburn Way S.

Fri Jun 10, 5:34 p.m. 2022 PDT A stolen vehicle occurred at Walmart 762 Outlet Collection Dr. SW.

Fri Jun 10, 6:19 p.m. 2022 PDT Shoplifting occurred in the Outlet Collection Mall 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW.

Fri Jun 10, 8:20 p.m. 2022 PDT Theft of jewelry was reported in the 600 block of I St NE.

Fri Jun 10, 9:15 p.m. 2022 PDT A driving with a suspended license arrest occurred in the 1300 block of 15th St NW.

Sat Jun 11, 12:20 a.m. 2022 PDT A door was damaged by an ex-boyfriend in the 1500 block of 31st SE.
(Doors can be replaced, but people can’t. If you/someone you know is in an abusive or dangerous relationship, support is available. Remember, abuse is not limited to romantic relationships. Please, don’t second guess yourself. Crisis Resources)

Sat Jun 11, 2:39 a.m. 2022 PDT A trespass occurred at Ray of Hope Shelter 2802 Auburn Way N.

Sat Jun 11, 4:43 a.m. 2022 PDT Vandalism occurred in the 7100 block of Marshall Ave SE.

Sat Jun 11, 5:43 a.m. 2022 PDT A theft from a vehicle while parked in the post office occurred at USPS 11 3rd St NW.

Sat Jun 11, 5:46 a.m. 2022 PDT Arson occurred in the 2400 block of E St NE.

Sat Jun 11, 8:40 a.m. 2022 PDT A hit and run collision occurred with a suspect fleeing on foot in the 1500 block of B St NW. The subject was contacted shortly after and eventually transported to a local hospital. A hit and run case was completed to be forwarded to the City of Auburn Prosecutor’s Office.
(Running after a collision, yes – that’s a good idea. That whole crime thing aside, Speedy McGee is lucky their jaunt didn’t make any injuries they had worse.)

Sat Jun 11, 8:40 a.m. 2022 PDT An order violation occurred in the 200 block of 14th St SE.

Sat Jun 11, 8:51 a.m. 2022 PDT A commercial burglary occurred in the 4500 block of B St NW.

Sat Jun 11, 10:02 a.m. 2022 PDT A vehicle was impounded from the 900 block of 29th St SE.

Sat Jun 11, 11:29 a.m. 2022 PDT An adult female was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for mental observation.

Sat Jun 11, 11:41 a.m. 2022 PDT A stolen vehicle occurred in the 800 block of Auburn Way N.

Sat Jun 11, 12:14 p.m. 2022 PDT A arrested for Loitering with the intent of engaging in drug-related activity occurred in the 1700 block of Auburn Way N.

Sat Jun 11, 1:11 p.m. 2022 PDT A theft occurred in the 1400 block of Harvey Rd NE.

Sat Jun 11, 5:28 p.m. 2022 PDT Shoplifting occurred in the Outlet Collection Mall 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW.

Sat Jun 11, 6:38 p.m. 2022 PDT A small Piper airplane lost engine power and made an emergency landing in a field in the 4100 block of I St NE.
(There were no injuries related to this incident.)

Sat Jun 11, 11:50 p.m. 2022 PDT An assault and felony harassment arrest occurred in the 4700 block of Auburn Way N.

Sun Jun 12, 2:51 a.m. 2022 PDT  A felony hit and run serious injury collision occurred at the intersection of B ST NW and 30TH ST NW.

Sun Jun 12, 2:51 a.m. 2022 PDT An DV assault was reported in the 11100 SE 316th Pl.

Sun Jun 12, 9:01 a.m. 2022 PDT An Auburn Police Department Trespass Admonishment was issued in the 800 block of Harvey Rd NE.
(I’m sorry, a what was what? That’s a little too much corporate-speak for the likes of my blotter, thanks.)

Sun Jun 12, 10:00 a.m. 2022 PDT A driver in a parking lot in the 800 block of Auburn Way N.
backed into a passing police vehicle, striking it. The driver of the vehicle then provided a false name because he had a felony warrant for attempting to elude a police officer along with several misdemeanor warrants. The male was booked into the SCORE Jail for making a false statement to a peace officer.
(I can only imagine what was going through the driver’s head as this played out. It wasn’t good, I know that much!)

Sun Jun 12, 10:12 a.m. 2022 PDT An impounded vehicle occurred in the 2000 block of C St SE.

Sun Jun 12, 10:48 a.m. 2022 PDT A parked dump truck had its diesel fuel stolen in the 1200 block of W Main St. by an unknown white male.
(Careful, these days it won’t take much to be a felony ($5,000 and up).  Wait. If they use the gas in a car and then cross state lines, does that become a federal crime? Oh, oh God…what if you go to Canada? 

Sun Jun 12, 11:00 a.m. 2022 PDT  ( ...Pretty sure I just broke my own brain.) A theft was reported in the 1500 block of D St NE.

Sun Jun 12, 11:49 a.m. 2022 PDT An injury collision and recovery of a stolen vehicle occurred in the 29600 block of Green River Rd SE.

Sun Jun 12, 2:30 p.m. 2022 PDT A car was prowled, an iPad stolen from it, in the 800 block of Harvey Rd NE.

Sun Jun 12, 2:51 p.m. 2022 PDT Qudoba (1000 block of Outlet Collection Way SW)was broken into and items were damaged.
(I swear to Carolus, if this is the first move of a Taco Turf War…)

Sun Jun 12, 4:39 a.m. 2022 PDT A window was vandalized in the 1400 block of W Main St.

Sun Jun 12, 7:36 p.m. 2022 PDT An attempted assault with a vehicle occurred in the 29500 block of 112th Ave SE.a gif of actress jennifer lawrence, in character, reacting stunned and sayin "excuse me?"

Sun Jun 12, 7:52 p.m. 2022 PDT An adult female was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for mental observation.

Sun Jun 12, 10:33 p.m. 2022 PDT An adult male was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for mental observation.

Sun Jun 12, 11:40 p.m. 2022 PDT A felony order violation arrest occurred near the 2400 Block of Auburn Way S.

Monday, June 13, 2022

Mon Jun 13, 12:41 a.m. 2022 PDT Two adult males, one female, trespassed in the 500 block of 15th St NE.

Mon Jun 13, 1:58 a.m. 2022 PDT Felony harassment was reported in the 12700 block of SE 312th St.

Mon Jun 13, 4:42 a.m. 2022 PDT A window was damaged in the 1000 block of Auburn Way N.
(Do we really need to have a refresher on the whole ‘casting the first stone’ thing? Cause this whole broken window thing is gettin’ outta hand folks.)
