Auburn Holds Memorial Day Ceremony at Mt. View Cemetery

The public is invited to attend a special Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27, at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Flag Plaza at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn.

The ceremony will begin with the pledge of allegiance, led by Troop 398 and the National Anthem by soloist Geoffrey Klerekoper. The invocation will be given by Rev. Dr. Tim Klerekoper, followed by sentiments from Mayor Nancy Backus and Post Commander Tony Whetstine of VFW Post 1741 of Auburn. A rifle salute will be performed by the Inter-tribal Warrior Society.

Mt. View Cemetery Memorial Day Weekend Hours

The Cemetery will also offer extended hours during the Memorial Day weekend:

Saturday, May 25
8 AM – 4:30 PM

Sunday, May 26
12- 4 PM

Monday, May 27
8 AM – 4:30 PM
