The Free Summer Meals program for children ages 1-18 began Monday, June 22, and runs until August 31.
The Auburn School District has announced all of the current meal program locations, including bus stops, will be maintained for the Summer Meals program. In addition to these locations, the Auburn the YMCA, Pacific Community Center and a Les Gove Park bus stop have also been added.
All of the current school locations will continue to serve breakfast and lunch. The same serving times will remain the same for summer meals. These times are 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. – 12 pm at the YMCA and Pacific Community Center. Meals should be taken home, not eaten at the pick-up site.
Parents/guardians may pick up meals for their children.
A full list, and map, of Auburn summer meal program locations is provided on the ASD website.
The state has also announced families impacted by COVID-19 may be eligible for additional food assistance.
